Branding Aura

Elomatic

Aura

Elomatic is a leading supplier of engineering and consulting services, focusing on solutions that improve environmental and human wellbeing. We defined the brand for their new software to make it shine and stand out from the competition.

What we did

We worked with the client to define the brand core and name through workshops and interviews, crafting a crisp new identity that reflected the values of the expert team behind the product. We crafted an appealing site and engaging pitch deck to help launch the asset performance management software, aptly named Aura.

An aura is the distinctive atmosphere or quality that surrounds a thing.

Since the Aura software helps gauge the health of assets (be it a fleet, an engine or a machine) we created brand visuals that emanate like an aura, shimmering or reacting to asset status.

Unlike the software of its sizeable competitors, Aura does not come with unnecessary bells and whistles. It is a robust, well-built product that provides all the essentials, bringing clarity to users. We centered the brand around the promise of making life simpler for fleet owners and engineers. Aura helps users gain a holistic understanding of the state of their assets – all they need and nothing extra. Operations run smoothly with Aura. This message was reflected in the tone of voice, visuals and movement we created for the brand, resulting in a cohesive story that emphasized the strengths of the product in every touchpoint.

Brand imagery

Photography has the power to not only illustrate but also increase the credibility of a brand. As Elomatic did not have access to photograph relevant environments like ships or dry docks, we carefully curated and colour graded high quality stock imagery to ensure it aligned with the brand. The addition of photography served to humanise the technologically focused brand, bridging the gap between the software and the people using it.
